形態特徵

• A perennial fleshy herb; stems tufted, prostrate, emitting fibrous roots at base, many-branched, 5–7 mm high.
• Leaves sessile, alternate, densely arranged, narrowly cylindric-oblong, 3–5 mm long, 1.5–2.2 mm broad, round at apex, entire and glabrous.
• Flowers solitary, occasionally 5–6, in terminal spikes, sessile; sepals 5, oblong-linear, 3 mm long, obtuse or rounded at apex, slightly cuneate at base, yellow; stamens 10, the inner 5 petalous, shorter than petals; anthers elliptic, 0.5 mm long, obtuse or obscurely so at apex; carpels 5, connate at base, elongate-ovate, acuminate at apex, 2.4 mm long, verticillately spreading when mature.
• Follicles 5; testa yellow, 0.5 mm long.

物候

Flowering and fruiting periods from April to June.

分布

• 台灣 : northern part of Taiwan, especially on sandy place of the seashore.
• 世界 : Japan, the Ryukyu.
